Hello, my name is Adam Ariff and I am the founder of Beyond Educated. My goal is to reach as many people as possible and improve the lives of people by helping you invest in your health, improve your productivity and overall wellbeing.
My philosophy is simple,
“Do more, achieve more, be more.”
Over the time I have been running Beyond Educated the channel has developed and evolved into having a focus on fitness. The reason for this is that I firmly believe that whether you are an amateur or veteran at fitness everything else flows from getting your body in shape and getting yourself moving.
I spent years of my life aspiring to get the physique I was after going on diet after diet. I made mistake after mistake, from eating just protein to virtually starving myself and losing all the muscle I had gain.
It’s not until I finished all my studying as a Chartered Accountant I eventually realised that numbers were not my calling. After I qualified I set myself a goal and that was,
“Get in the best shape I have ever been in ever”
I did achieve this and got into pretty good shape with low body fat, see below, but then went back to being my old shape after indulging on drink and doughnuts for 2 weeks on holiday, no serious harm done 🙂
After holiday I decided fitness and wellbeing were my passions. I wanted to make a difference to peoples lives in an area that I could enjoy doing. I now understand that fitness is journey and not an end destination and to achieve what I want takes time and takes patience. At the same time it is a lifestyle I am choosing to live rather than a diet or ‘fad’.
Over the years through making many mistakes I have learned a lot. I want to use my knowledge and experience to help others. I do this by creating motivational, inspiring and knowledgeable posts that I regularly add to my YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.
I offer online coaching programmes to help people obtain the physique they want, support their weight loss and nutritional goals and help them avoid the same mistakes I made.
I recently undertook an 11 week cutting series following a 2 month bulk at the start of the 2017. I’ve gone through it all myself and so I fully understand the difficulties faced when trying to bulk down or cut.
